The fine print. What you pay here is a voluntary tip for this website: the staircase, the spectacle, and the list of everyone who paid for it. What you get back is your steps, and whatever name and message you put on them. There is nothing physical. Every payment is final and there are no refunds.

This is not a charity, none of it is tax-deductible, and no charitable purpose is claimed or implied. One person runs this site and will, if it works, simply have $1,000,000 (minus fees and taxes).

Names and messages are moderated. Anything hateful or abusive comes off without a refund, and the steps stay where they are, anonymous, forever. Stripe handles the payment. This site never sees or stores your card. The only personal thing kept here is the name and message you chose to leave.
